Who we are

The PEACE (Providing Education Against Conflicting Environments) Company was founded on a deep understanding of how trauma and a lack of emotional intelligence impact the workplace and community. My firsthand experience at the Harris County District Attorney's Office in Houston, TX, revealed that the heartbreak of crime and violence extends far beyond the individual, creating ripples of pain and dysfunction that disrupt communication, behavior, and engagement within organizations and communities alike. This mission-driven focus empowers us to provide solutions that cultivate high-performing, more resilient environments.

In the wake of COVID-19, rising crime, isolation, and stress led to breakdowns in communication, behavior, and workplace engagement. This inspired me to create a platform that provides tools to address these urgent challenges.

Through professional and personal development workshops, emotional intelligence programs, and intergenerational learning initiatives, The PEACE Company offers more than training—we offer hope. Grounded in trauma-informed and strength-based practices, our approach recognizes the impact of adversity on behavior, communication, conflict resolution skills, and workplace dynamics. We provide participants with practical tools to better understand and manage their emotions, fostering empathy, effective communication, conflict resolution, and resilience.

To ensure our programs are both impactful and relevant, we utilize a data-driven approach to development and evaluation. We use a Topic Matrix to align our workshop content with specific learning objectives, and Value Stream Mapping to streamline the learning journey for maximum efficiency. Furthermore, we measure the effectiveness of our programs using validated evaluation tools such as the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Training Evaluation, and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) to assess burnout, learning transfer, and stress reduction. This comprehensive approach allows us to deliver tangible results and empower individuals and organizations to thrive.
